Krankenhaus Festival famously combines live music with the beauty of nature – and the spirit of adventure.
We’ve designed a treasure hunt to capture some of that energy. It’s inspired by our love for maps and the sense of wonder we’ve felt exploring Muncaster and Ravenglass ourselves.
With eleven locations to find, we’ll keep you – and your little ones – busy exploring the beautiful Castle gardens on the hunt for nature-themed trivia.
Find them all and you’ll be in with the chance to win a little bit of treasure to take home with you and cherish long after lights out. Who knows what you might uncover? There’s only one way to find out…

Who we are
We’re Dr Tom and Dr Lowri, two old friends who you’ll see volunteering here at Krankenhaus Festival this weekend. We’re also here as The Whimsical Map Company.
We share a passion for natural history and we’ve both worked in scientific research for much of the last 15 years.
We hope to impart a little knowledge and a lot of enthusiasm for the local fauna as you go!
